Aquatic Center

The Club’s Aquatic Center is the place to be during those hot Oklahoma summers. The recently redone pool features one and three meter diving boards, a baby pool, and lap lanes. Adjacent to the pool is a large playground area for the young ones, a snack bar, indoor and outdoor eating areas, and a full-service bar for the “older” members.

Special events in the pool area include the always popular barbecue buffets held each Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, and offering members and their guests the fun of an old-time drive-in movie, but with all the comfort and features of first class food and beverage services. The Club also sponsors youth swimming and diving teams which compete in area meets. Swimming and diving instruction is available by appointment. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times during the pool’s open hours.

Elizabeth "Liz" Delgado

Swim Instructor/Lifeguard
(361) 212-4662

Ms. Delgado joins the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club Aquatics department as our Swim Instructor and a lifeguard.  She brings over 21 years of experience participating and coaching swim teams.  "I started participating on the swim team at the age of 5 years old with the Northcrest Pool league in Victoria, TX.”  She continued swimming through school and swam for her varsity swim team.

While in high school, she started lifeguarding and assisting with the summer league swim teams at the neighborhood pool. During college, she continued teaching swim lessons, coaching and lifeguarding.  Ms. Delgado received her bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX in 2011.

Liz moved to Oklahoma in 2013, where she began instructing and lifeguarding at the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City.  Although she has been involved with swim teams for 21 years, she also adds 10 years of experience to our lifeguard staff.

Ms. Delgado comes to us highly recommended and we feel fortunate to have her as part of our Aquatics team.
